Prepare with AI (and stay authentic)
In the last module you used AI to build a strong CV and cover letter. Now comes the moment they lead to: the interview.
An interview is a conversation. The employer wants to know two things: can you do the job, and what are you like to work with? AI can help you get ready for both — as long as the answers stay yours.
What AI is great at before an interview
- Researching the company and the role so you walk in informed.
- Predicting the questions you are likely to be asked.
- Rehearsing your answers and giving you honest feedback.
- Calming your nerves by letting you practice out loud, as many times as you want.
The trap: memorized scripts
It is tempting to ask AI for the "perfect answer" and learn it by heart. Don't. Interviewers can feel a rehearsed script, and the moment they ask a follow-up, a memorized answer falls apart.
Practice your story until it is clear — not until it is memorized word for word.
Use AI to find the structure and the words for your own real experience. The examples must come from your life, not from the AI's imagination.
Two rules to keep it real
- Tell the truth. Never let AI invent a skill, a job, or a result you do not have. If you get hired on a lie, the job itself will expose it.
- Verify the facts. AI can be confidently wrong about a company — its size, its products, who runs it. Before you repeat something in an interview, check it on the company's own website.
Think of AI as a sparring partner: it helps you practice and pushes you to be clearer, but on the day, the person in the room is you.
