AI as a writing partner

Writing takes time. A blank page can be the hardest part of any email, report, or message. This is exactly where AI helps most: it can produce a first draft in seconds and polish your wording just as fast.

But speed is not the whole story. Think of AI as a writing partner, not a replacement for you. A good partner drafts, suggests, and tidies up — while you decide what matters.

You steer, the AI assists

Three things always stay your job:

Your ideas. The AI does not know your situation, your reader, or what you really want to say. You provide that.
Your voice. Read the draft out loud. If it does not sound like you, change it until it does. You can tell the AI "make it warmer" or "shorter and friendlier."
Your facts. The AI can sound confident and still be wrong. Any name, date, number, or promise must be checked by you before you send it.

A simple way to work

Tell the AI what you need — the goal, the reader, and the key points.
Let it draft the first version quickly.
Read and fix — cut what is off, correct any facts, and make it sound like you.

Rule of thumb: the AI gets you to a fast first draft, but you are the author who signs it. The final message is always yours.
