A living hinge is a thin, flexible section that lets two parts bend - all printed as one piece!

Design Rules

For Flexible Filaments (TPU)

  • Thickness: 0.4-0.8mm
  • Can bend 180°+ repeatedly

For Rigid Filaments (PLA/PETG)

  • Thickness: 0.2-0.4mm
  • Works for single-bend applications
  • May fatigue with repeated use
