Positioning on the Build Plate
Objects must sit flat on the build plate (Y = 0)!
Task
- Add a Cylinder to the scene
- Use the Move tool (W) to position it
- Ensure the bottom of the cylinder touches the grid (Y = 0)
- Check the Print Readiness panel - it should show ✅ Ready
Common Mistakes
- ❌ Floating objects (Y > 0) - will fail to print!
- ❌ Objects below grid (Y < 0) - bottom gets cut off
- ✅ Flat on grid (Y = 0) - perfect!
The grid represents the build plate surface.
