Export an STL

Export Your Model

Create a simple object and export it as STL.

Tasks

  1. Create a simple model
- Add a box or cylinder - Optionally use boolean to add interest
  1. Export as STL
- Click the Export tab in Properties panel - Click "Export STL (Print)" - Save the downloaded file

Why STL?

STL files can be:

  • Uploaded to 3D printing services

  • Loaded into slicer software

  • Shared with others for printing


Success Criteria

✓ STL export completed

After Export

Your browser will download the STL file. You can:

  • Open it in a 3D print slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer)

  • Upload to Thingiverse or Printables

  • Send to a 3D printing service


Note: For actual printing, check dimensions match your intended size!
