Create an L-Bracket

Design an L-Bracket

An L-bracket is a common 3D printed part. Let's design one that prints without supports!

Task

  1. Create the vertical part - A box standing upright (1×4×6 units)
  2. Create the horizontal base - A box lying flat (4×1×6 units)
  3. Position them to form an "L" shape
  4. Ensure both parts sit on the build plate (Y = 0)

Design Tips

  • The bracket should be oriented so no overhangs exceed 45°
  • Position the vertical part at one end of the base
  • All surfaces should be print-ready!
Check the Print Readiness panel to verify.
